Priming/Bonding Mortar
In order to acheive the very strong adhesion bond required in modern pavement engineering it is necessary to apply a priming mortar to the surfaces which bedding mortar must attach to.
Priming mortar is therefore applied to the underside of paving elements and to the surface of a concrete roadbase.
tuffbond is a highly adhesive slurry mortar which produces a very rapid and strong adhesion bond.
