Where natural stone slabs and precast concrete flags are to be laid
in areas subjected to heavy vehicular trafficking, a concrete base must be provided in accordance with BS7533-12:2006
Slabs laid over a concrete base can support heavy vehiclur traffic and
also can use relatively thinner slabs, saving valuable natural resources.
